Crown Prince attends dinner hosted by Governor General of N.Z.

His Royal Highness Haji Al-Muhtadee Billah, the Crown Prince, Tuesday attended an official dinner hosted by the Governor General of New Zealand, Her Excellency Dame Silvia Cartwright and her husband, Dr. Peter Cartwright in honour of the Crown Prince’s official visit to New Zealand.

The dinner was held at the Government House.  In a brief address, His Royal Highness highlighted the growing importance of relations between the two countries especially in trade and commerce, education and training.  His Royal Highness stated that he was pleased he would have the opportunity to visit the two universities in New Zealand where there are a large number of Brunei students pursuing their medical studies.  This long-standing cooperation in education, His Royal Highness added, is highly appreciated by Brunei Darussalam. 

 

  His Royal Highness concluded by expressing the hope that the future would bring many opportunities for the people of both countries to further strengthen the warm relations shared by the two nations.
