Three qari have been chosen
to represent the Belait District in the Quran reading
competition for adults at the mosque-level.
Awang Haji Mohd. Abdul Rahman bin
Haji Abdul Mukim, Awang Haji Shaliheen and Awang Haji Ibrahim
bin Haji Daud were selected to the all-districts Quran reading
competition, based on their reading intonation and
presentation.

Present at the function was the
Assistant District Officer, Awang Haji Ali. Apart from
selecting the best readers for the Belait District, the contest
was also a passage for the ummah to learn the contents of
the holy book and adopt the principles as their guidelines for
life.
The function was held at the Pekan
Seria Mosque.
