Officers of the Royal Customs and
Excise Department have succeeded in foiling an attempt to bring
into the country dubious chicken parts. The operation in which
a local man was detained for questioning was carried out Monday
at Jalan Junjungan.
The man was suspected of trying to
smuggle into the country chicken wings from a neighbouring
state. The chicken wings were wrapped into 18 packets,
estimated to weight 288 kilograms. |
