Outgoing RBAF Commander treated to farewell ceremony

The Training Centre of Royal Brunei Armed Forces has held a farewell ceremony for the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces who is going to retire later this month.

At the centre’s headquarters, the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces, Major General Pehin Dato Paduka Seri Haji Mohd. Ja’afar first received a guard of honour mounted by personnel under the command of Lieutenant Haji Arslan.  

The Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces also met with officials of the Training Centre.  

During the visit, the outgoing Commander was entertained to a reception with senior military officials, lower rank officers and military privates in the Training Centre.  The Commandant of the Training Centre, Lieutenant Colonel Haji Mohamad Yaakub, in his welcoming speech reiterated the good contribution of support by the Commander of Royal Brunei Armed Forces himself to the Training Centre. 

Major General Pehin Dato Haji Mohamad Ja’afar has been serving with Royal Brunei Armed Forces since 1969.  Throughout his service, the Pehin has held various military posts, up until his current post as the Commander of the Royal Brunei Armed Forces.
