A co-production project for radio
programmes between Brunei Darussalam and Malaysia has been held
continuously under the memorandum of understanding between both
countries. One of the recorded programmes under the project was ‘Bermukun’,
MOU between Radio Television Brunei and Radio Television Malaysia,
Kuching.

The co-production project among other
things aims to further enhance the cultural relationship between the
two countries. The recorded project was not only carried out in the
studio, but also in an open area with the aim of encouraging the
public participation in upholding the project. The programme
‘Bermukun’ was first introduced six years ago by both broadcasting
stations alternatively and it was recorded through the telephone. Due
