Major Repair Works Result in Water Cuts

Water supply to several areas in the Brunei Muara District will be interrupted temporarily today.  The disruption was due to the carrying out of major repair works at two locations - on the transmission pipeline at Kampung Anggerek Desa, which supplies the Sungai Akar, Pulaie and Diplomatic Service reservoirs, and the inlet main to the Kiarong Reservoir.

The areas affected include Jalan Kebangsaan, Kampung Sungai Akar, Kampung Pulaie, Kampung Anggerek Desa, Kampungs Delima Satu and Dua, Kampung Sungai Tilong, Kampung Sungai Hanching, the Old Airport areas, Berakas area including the Kampung Burung Pingai vicinity.  Other affected areas are Kampungs Kiarong, Beribi, Lumapas, Kasat, Putat, Buang Tengkurok, Setia A and B Menunggol, Bolkiah A and B, Sungai Kebun and the surrounding areas.
