Lost Friends Remembered at RBPF’s Anniversary Celebrations

The Royal Brunei Police Force has organized various activities to commemorate the 83rd anniversary of its formation.  One of the activities was the recitation of the Yassin verses, as well as Tahlil and Doa prayers in remembrance of police members who had passed away while serving with the force.

The recitation of Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah was for Allahyarham Janudin bin Haji Mumin.  The Surah Yassin, Tahlil and Doa Arwah rites were led by the imam of Police Headquarters Surau, Awang Haji Abdullah bin Karim.  More than two hundred police personnel attended the ceremony.

Allahyarham was an investigator from the Investigation and Traffic Department of the Royal Brunei Police Force.  He passed away in a road accident while on duty in 1998.  Among those present were the Commissioner of Police, Dato Paduka Seri Haji Abdul Rahman and the family members of late Allahyarham.

The ceremony is an annual activity organised by the Islamic Religious Body of the Royal Brunei Police Force.  The ceremony took place at Ingan-Ingan Cemetery Site, Kampung Parit, Mukim Pengkalan Batu, Friday
