XING-XIU WEN-LAI 2008

A Mandarin singing competition “Xing-Xiu Wen-Lai” organized by Pilihan FM (Mandarin Broadcast) in 2007 to coincide with the Golden Jubilee or the 50^th anniversary of Radio Brunei which was established on the 2^nd May 1957. Singing competition first organized by the Mandarin Broadcast through 1970s and in 1987. The main objective of this competition is to scout the talent of singing in Mandarin of its target audience, promote the collaboration of local artistes, musicians and music professionals as well as to strengthen the collaboration between the government and the private sector. This competition is open to Brunei citizens and permanent residents aged 16 to 35 years old. The Finals will be held on Sunday 10^th August 2008 at RTB Dewan Raya in the capital.
