A women found in a bush

 

The police are seeking public assistance in their investigation following the discovery of a body in a village near the
capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. The victim was a woman of around 40 years old, 5 feet 3 inches tall, and weighing 60
kilogrammes with short black hair and has false teeth on her lower and upper jaws.

The victim was found in a bush at Simpang 674, in Kampung Belimbing, Subok. She was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and a
pair of black-and-white pants. The police have yet to determine the identity of the victim. Anyone with information can
contact the police on the Hotline: 9-9-3.

 

Seeking for a runaway Indonesian female employee

 

Police are also seeking assistance in tracing a runaway Indonesian female employee. Nenirati, 29 years old, was reported to
have run away from her employer since the 11th of November last year.

She was last seen wearing a white T-shirt and jeans. Anyone who have information on her whereabouts are asked to contact the
Seria Police Station, at telephone numbers 3/222/333, or Hotline 9-9-3, or any nearest police station.

 

All road users advised to obey the traffic signs and to exercise
extra care in Kampong Lamunin

 

The government of His Majesty, through the Drainage and Sewerage Department, is spending millions of dollars on various
projects for the convenience of the people. One of the projects is the Flood Alleviation work in Kampong Lamunin and a new
bridge costing about 3 million 450 thousand dollars.

The Flood Alleviation project is expected to be completed in April 2007. While work on the project is in progress, a number
of bridges at Jalan Lamunin will be affected including one at Sungai Birau which is now closed to traffic.

The construction of the new bridge began on 27th December last year. For the safety of road users, a temporary detour has
been set up near the construction site. All road users including motorists are advised to obey the traffic signs and to
exercise extra care.
