College to be more competitive |
| |
|
Her Royal Highness Princess Hajah Rashidah
Sa’adatul Bolkiah urges the Pengiran Anak Puteri Hajah Rashidah Nursing
College to be more competitive in uniting nurses and midwives all over

towards producing more open-minded nurses and midwives who would be
sensitive to the comprehensive development of nursing, midwifery and
health fields overseas. In the meantime, students should grab the
opportunity to upgrade their self-capacity to together uphold the
country’s health goal.

facing the world’s threat. In this context, Her Royal Highness said
history has learnt of the threat that the bird flu could kill millions
of people across the globe, and this phenomenon requires greater
responsibility from all nurses to assure the safety and protection for
the citizens. In regard to this, Her Royal Highness called on all
graduates to be prepared to co-shoulder the responsibility as nurses
particularly, and as members of the community as a whole in facing this
new threat.

| |
|
It is crucial for entrepreneurs to keep
their business premises and the surrounding areas clean and comfortable
for the visitors. The Department of Brunei Industry or BINA, in this
matter, has the responsibility to ensure the environment at business
complexes is always clean and safe for the public.
The department conducted a cleaning campaign Saturday at the Light
Industry Complex One in Beribi. Among those taking part in the campaign
was the Acting Director of BINA, Pengiran Sariffuddin bin Pg. Haji
Matali as well as officers from the business community, government and
private agencies. Works included the clearing of unused vehicles parked
along the roadsides. The proper use of industrial containers at the
Light Industry Complex was also taken into account.
According to BINA, it is an offence for entrepreneurs to use the
containers to accommodate their workers. BINA has provided more than ten
industrial sites at all the four districts. Meanwhile, entrepreneurs are
reminded to wisely use the approval given to them to run business
activities at the complex and must apply for another approval for any
