Friday Sermon explain about Doa

Doa or supplications have their own speciality and many benefits. Through Doa, a person seeks blessings from Allah the Almighty, forgiveness and protection as well as deliverance from disaster and suffering. Those who ask sincerely, will see Allah the Almighty accept their doa.  Friday, Friday sermon also explained that Doa can prevent disasters, even if it is ordained by the Almighty.  For an effective Doa, the Muslim Ummah is urged to offer it with discipline.  A person must take the Wudhu or ablution properly, perform the Doa facing the Kiblat, starting and ending it by praising Allah the Almighty and offering Salawat to Prophet Mohammad S.A.W.  The Imam says that Doa should be read in a low tone and in humility.  Parents should be given priority in the Doa of their children in a show of thanks to repay their kindness and care during one's childhood.
