
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu'izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar 'Ali Saifuddien Sa'adul Khairi Waddien, the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam has arrived safely in London, United Kingdom for a meeting with the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, The Right Honourable David Cameron, and the signing Ceremony of the Exchange of Notes and Letters between Brunei Darussalam and the United Kingdom.
Accompanying His Majesty the Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam is His Royal Highness Prince 'Abdul Mateen. Present at Heathrow Airport, London, to greet His Majesty was The Right Honourable Susan Garden, Baroness Garden of Frognal as representative to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the High Commissioner of the United Kingdom to Brunei Darussalam, His Excellency David Campbell.
Also present to greet His Majesty were the Second Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Pekerma Dewa Dato Seri Setia Lim Jock Seng; the Minister of Energy at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Berhormat Pehin Datu Singamanteri Retired Colonel Dato Seri Setia (Dr.) Awang Haji Mohammad Yasmin bin Haji Umar; the Deputy Minister of Defence, Dato Paduka Awang Haji Mustappa bin Haji Sirat ; and the High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam to the United Kingdom, His Excellency Retired Major General Dato Paduka Seri Haji Aminuddin Ihsan bin Pehin Orang Kaya Saiful Mulok Dato Seri Paduka Haji Abidin. From Heathrow Airport, His Majesty then consented to board the motorcade towards the Kensington Palace Gardens, where His Majesty will reside throughout the visit.
Also accompanying His Majesty to the United Kingdom is the Second Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister's Office, Yang Berhormat Pehin Orang Kaya Laila Setia Dato Seri Setia Awang Haji Abd. Rahman bin Haji Ibrahim.
